I’m Maxx, an artist based in Jacksonville, Florida, originally from Trinidad and Tobago. I’m a late-blooming artist, discovering my creative voice later in life but once I did, it became an inseparable part of who I am. Art has always been my way of speaking when words aren’t enough a language of color, emotion, and expression that tells life’s story in ways words never could.

Growing up, opportunities to explore art freely were limited. Money and resources often felt out of reach. But art found me anyway. It became my escape, my voice, my freedom, and my life.

Through my work, I explore color, movement, and meaning, capturing emotions and stories that reflect the beauty and complexity of life. Each piece is an expression of my journey, my perspective, and my love for creating something that speaks without words.

Art is life. Life deserves to be expressed.
